On Monday, 13 September 2021 the pupils and teachers marked Croatian Olympic Day by taking a walk to the famous natural landmarks of Moravice. The pupils from grades 1-4 took a walk with their teachers to the nearby Macijansko lake where they enjoyed the beautiful nature and took part in the outdoor games. The pupils from grades 5-8 took a longer route from the centre of Moravice to one of the most beautiful landmarks - Ledena jama. They walked for several kilometres under the guidance of a local guide and a grandmother of one of our pupils, Mrs Zora Potkonjak for which we thank her. Pupils got a chance to admire the untouched nature, got the know some plants as well as geographical features, were physically active and also had a very nice time together in the fresh air. 

Both groups of pupils returned to the school full of impressions and very tired but in a good way.

They are looking forward to repeating the walk again! Next time to another location which will probably be as beautiful as the one they visited on 13 September.
