We are ecologically aware, so we like to recycle. That's what we did for one of our Christmas workshops. We used empty plastic bottles that we cut in three pieces. We kept the top and the bottom piece. We put a thin layer of glue in the bottom part which we filled with an artificial snow. While the snow on the glued bottom was getting ready, we coloured the wooden decorations such as Santa, a snowman and a tree which we hanged in the top part of the bottle using a coloured wire which we pulled through the plastic cap. Not only the wire was pulled through the cap but also a piece of satin string which we used as a hanger. In the end we joined the top and the bottom part of the bottle getting an amazing recycled Xmas ball. We also used a golden spray to cover the red plastic cap and to add a bit of holiday spirit.

Easy to get the material needed! Easy to make! Looking amazing! Little money, great fun, and it's personal!
