The students of our school want to share good vibes and peaceful thoughts with all of you by offering you their own olive branch - an easy-to do DIY mini project. All you need is two paper plates, a pair of scissors, some glue, orange and black colouring pencils and of course, a little bit of glitter.
If you are interested, just follow these simple steps and your peace dove will be done in no time.
Print out the template.
Cut out the dove.
Copy the dove onto the paper plate. Cut along the lines on the paper plate.
Cut the paper dove in 2 copies.
Decorate the dove body by drawing an eye on each copy. Also colour the beak on each copy orange.
Cut out the wings template. Cut it in half.
Copy the wings onto the paper plate.
Cut along the lines.
Glue both copies of the dove body together using any kind of glue.
Use clothespins to pin both sides of the dove together more firmly.
Glue the wings to the body using glue and clothespins for the same reason as above.
Put some glue onto the wings and tail and put a little bit of golden glitter on it to make it sparkle.
The dove is done. Admire your work! You're quite creative and artistic!

On 7 October we visited one of Crotian national parks which is also the oldest one. We had a lot of fun on the way there...as well as on the way home...At first the weather was cloudy but it wasn't raining. However, our luck didn't last...During the second half of our sightseeing the rain started...and we hurried to the bus...Some of us got wet more than others.
Despite the weather we had the best time ever!
P.S. It was also our teacher's birthday and our present to her was a folk song wishing her to live until she's 105 and then all over again!
