Today is a very special day! It's a day when the 1st Spelling Bee Contest took place in our school in Moravice.
The partcipants were the pupils from the 5th to the 8th class. Each of them had their name tag with a spelling bee on it.
At the beginning of the contest teacher Davorka read the rules to them after which they pulled out the number which noted their place in the answering line.
The participants were: Valentina Alinčić, Mirjam Golik, Roberta Vučinić and Vanja Vučinić from the 5th class; Ella Musulin and Vedran Višnić from the 6th class; Dino Milošević from the 7th class and Refik Husić from the 8th class.
All of them gave their best to achieve the best result possible and they did quite well.
However, there were only three medals to be won, so the final result was as it follows:
1st place and the gold medal winner: Mirjam Golik (5th class)
2nd place and the silver medal winner: Valentina Alinčić (5th class)
3rd place and the bronze medal winner: Roberta Vučinić (5th class)
All the pupils were given the certificates.
They participated in the Spelling Bee Contest and had fun!

On 7 October we visited one of Crotian national parks which is also the oldest one. We had a lot of fun on the way there...as well as on the way home...At first the weather was cloudy but it wasn't raining. However, our luck didn't last...During the second half of our sightseeing the rain started...and we hurried to the bus...Some of us got wet more than others.
Despite the weather we had the best time ever!
P.S. It was also our teacher's birthday and our present to her was a folk song wishing her to live until she's 105 and then all over again!
