On Monday, November 23rd 2015, our school was visited by Mr Andrea Carlo Biggi, a Policy Officer for the Southern European Section at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade from Canberra. He came to see our project on Australia and the Australian culture and he was quite impressed to see what the pupils have done and learnt about his homeland. During his visit to Moravice, he gave an interview to our 6th class pupil, Vanja Vučinić answering somewhat difficult questions regarding his professional as well as personal life, his childhood memories and his favourites (singers, writers, books, etc.).
I'm so proud of my Vanja who did the interview in a very professional way.
On 7 October we visited one of Crotian national parks which is also the oldest one. We had a lot of fun on the way there...as well as on the way home...At first the weather was cloudy but it wasn't raining. However, our luck didn't last...During the second half of our sightseeing the rain started...and we hurried to the bus...Some of us got wet more than others.
Despite the weather we had the best time ever!
P.S. It was also our teacher's birthday and our present to her was a folk song wishing her to live until she's 105 and then all over again!
