On Thursday, March 10 Nikola Tesla Primary school in Moravice had a native speaker for its guest. He's British. He's a Londoner. He's Peter Hopwood. After managing to find our little village school, he took a tour through the school corridors together with our guests from Dr Branimir Marković Primary school from Ravna Gora. They were guided by our own Juliet, Miss Roberta Vučinić. After the tour, Peter took over and showed the pupils a little bit of the British culture as he sees it. He aks questions, pupils answered. After the presentation/talk, some pupils wanted to take photos with Peter to which he whole-heartedly agreed. Day 4 of the Week of the UK ended by an after party and cutting the UK cake which was done by our honourary guest.
Thank you, Peter, for accepting our invitation and coming to Moravice!
On 7 October we visited one of Crotian national parks which is also the oldest one. We had a lot of fun on the way there...as well as on the way home...At first the weather was cloudy but it wasn't raining. However, our luck didn't last...During the second half of our sightseeing the rain started...and we hurried to the bus...Some of us got wet more than others.
Despite the weather we had the best time ever!
P.S. It was also our teacher's birthday and our present to her was a folk song wishing her to live until she's 105 and then all over again!
